This site monitors volitional releases from Clark Flat acclimation pond, which is part of the Cle Elum Supplementation and Research Facility. It operates seasonally from when fish are delivered to the pond until after all fish have been forced out at the end of the volitional release period.

2022 1/25/2022 12:00 PM 5/27/2022 3:00 PM According to site Manger Charlie Strom the facility was cleaned up and water was turned off. The creek was cleared of all remaining fish. However because of very high river flows there detections on the monitors after this date. When the river is high enough there is a possibility for fish to swim back into the monitors.

2010 1/14/2010 12:00 AM 5/25/2010 12:00 AM Fish were delivered to the acclimation ponds on Jan. 14-15, 2010. The screens were pulled on March 15 to allow volitional egress. The facility was shut down on May 25.
2009 1/21/2009 12:00 AM 5/18/2009 12:00 AM Fish were ponded on Jan. 21-22. The volitional release began on March 16. All remaining fish were forced from the ponds on May 15.
2008 1/9/2008 12:00 AM 5/22/2008 4:30 PM Fish were ponded at Clark Flat on January 8-9, 2008. The volitional release began at noon on March 14. Any remaining fish were forced out of the raceways on May 14, into the channels above the PIT tag detectors. All fish remaining in the release channel were pushed through the PIT tag detectors on May 22, 2008.
2007 2/1/2007 12:00 AM 6/15/2007 12:00 AM Fish were ponded into the Clark Flat Acc. Facility by Feb. 1, 2007. Volitional release began on March 15, 2007. All remaining fish were forced from the ponds on May 15, 2007. The facility was dewatered on June 15, 2007.
2006 1/20/2006 12:00 AM 5/23/2006 12:00 AM Fish were transferred into the Clark Flat Acclimation Ponds between Jan. 20 and Jan. 23, 2006. Fish were allowed to volitionally exit the ponds beginning on March 15. All fish were flushed out on May 15, 2006 and screens were pulled to allow for volitional release. Clark Flat was dewatered on May 23, 2006.
2005 1/26/2005 12:00 AM 5/21/2005 8:00 PM Fish were introduced into the Clark Flat acc ponds on or before January 26, 2005. Volitional release began on March 9. All remaining fish were pushed out on April 28; 57 PIT tags were detected in the discharge channel between April 29 and May 8, and two tags were detected on May 21.
2004 1/15/2004 9:00 AM 5/21/2004 12:00 AM Fish were introduced into the Clark Flat Acc. Ponds beginning on 1/15/04. Volitional release began on March 15. All remaining fish were pushed from the ponds on May 14, but water was left running until May 21 to prevent stranding between the ponds and the river.
2003 1/13/2003 6:00 AM 5/16/2003 6:00 PM Fish were delivered to the ponds on Jan 13-14. The scheduled release is documented as beginning on March 14. Remaining fish were crowded from ponds on May 15. Last tags were detected in the exit channel on May 16.

The site will be pulling boards on 3-15. According to Charlie they may pull boards earlier if there is a "freshlet" in the river. We are making the site up for that reason.

The annual Windows 10 LTSC updates were completed last Tuesday, Nov. 7 along with the upgrade of M5 to 2.1.8 . All site DCP's , SByC and non , now run the same version of M5. No outstanding issues to report.

A site GMC was performed. All transceivers were checked for tuning and noise. No problems were discovered during this check.
