The machine became unresponsive at that point. Traveled to the site to determine the cause. Found the computer to appear normal but was unreponsive to mouse and/or keyboard commands and was not collecting data. Re-booted the PC via the front panel power button, collected the log files and emailed them to Portland. Verified the PC name change and Kennewick staff verified PCA funtionality. No other problems to report. 11/08/2012 16:14 Scott_Li M4 PC2 was upgraded today from ver. 1.4.4 to 1.4.6 11/01/2012 12:21 Scott_Li PC2 was upgraded to M4 Ver. 1.4.4 , site configs were e-mailed to Nicole 09/27/2012 14:39 Darren PSMFC was onsite to replace what was thought to be a dead transceiver, upon arrival I found that all transceivers were operating correctly. I turned my attentions to communications and found that the pair of fiber (7-8) were bad neither would pass the lasers. I switched the transceiver (A2) over to pairs 3-4 and tested comms. The fiber bundle that is in that enclosure(cable 1) has no more good pairs left. Pairs 1-2 and 7-8 would not pass lasers i could not determine if the terminations could be redone or not. 07/24/2012 13:26 Darren The utility machines have been updated with the new DNS servers. 07/16/2012 08:08 Alan In order to re-establish automated uploads, MiniMon was briefly exited on PC1 to delete a zip file. A test upload was completed sucessfully. 89 files were archived. Any data gap is inconsequential as the site is down for the season. 05/18/2012 09:03 Roger Performed site GMC on 5/18/2012. The SonicWall WAN and Gateway IP addresses were updated. The transceivers were checked for tune. Outstanding files on PC1 were uploaded. Files on PC2 were archived. The PC clocks are within 1 second of atomic time. The locker was inventoried. The utility PC was locked up when I arrived. The AC power to the PC needed to be cycled to unlock the PC. This also happened during the previous visit. There are no other problems to report. 05/17/2012 07:28 Alan Charlie Strom reports that all fish were chased out of the channel 5-16- 2012. Satellite communications were lost @ ~0400 5-17-2012. We are working to restore internet connectivity. No data will be lost as the fish were pushed out yesterday. 05/15/2012 06:33 Darren This message was sent from Charlie Strom hatchery manager for Cle Elum. Fish at all three acclimation sites were forced out of raceways. We will start cleaning and shutting down sites this week. 04/19/2012 13:44 Alan The buffered transceiver data (to cover the file gap created by the power outage on 4-16-2012) was submitted to PTAGIS in a tagging file: PIT12107.CFJ These tags were stored in the transceiver buffers at CFJ. Theses are tags that were detected leaving the site while the data collection platform was down due to a power outage. These tags were detected between 4/16/2012 18:00:00 PM and 4/17/2012 6:46:00 AM PST. 04/17/2012 10:45 Roger On site for GMC and power outage investigation on 4/17/2012. The UPS was defective and replaced with 2 UPS's. File CFJ12108.E2 was submitted as a gap file for the period during the UPS replacement. The buffers on all the transceivers were downloaded to individual files and the missing tag data from the power outage will be extracted and submitted later. The tuning was checked on the transceivers. Left claening supplies in the locker. There are no other problems to report. 04/06/2012 09:48 Roger Performed site GMC on 4/6/2012. No problems to report. 04/04/2012 12:49 Alan Files CFJ12094.C1 & E1 were given closing timestamps and submitted to PTAGIS manually. No further data exist on either PC to fill the remaining gap. 03/29/2012 08:16 scottl Fish delivered in January, first boards pulled 3-15-2012. 03/14/2012 07:23 Darren The first boards will be pulled at these sites tomorrow (3-15-12) which will begin the volitional release of the raceways. 02/26/2012 10:03 scottl@b A1:TestTagFailure,B1:TestTagFailure,B2:TestTagFailure: Noted, will retune on the next site visit. 02/24/2012 13:34 Darren A pre-season site GMC was performed today (2-24-12).
