EVENT LOG FOR SITE CFJ Most recent activity to be listed first. First line of each entry lists date, time and who is reporting. Subsequent lines of each entry aligned under Time column. Do not use tabs, only spaces. Date Time Who What ---------- ----- -------- ----------------------------------------------- 11/04/2002 15:13 scottl@p B1:TestTagFailure: Failure caused by PTOC maint. . 10/30/2002 08:32 Darren_C Both sites were visited for semi-preseason tuning and maintenance. Timer tags at CFJ on coils B1,B2 were replaced due to corrosion. The new tag codes are as follows: Coil B1: 3D9.0EEEEEE535 and Coil B2: 3D9.0EEEEEE5C5. No timer tags were replaced at JCJ. Although there is no power currently at JCJ the platform was checked using a generator and will come up in a collection mode. Charlie Storm contacted us and told us that he will notify us about 2 weeks prior to powering up the facilities. 06/03/2002 17:58 Dave Used CFJ-PC2 files to patch hole for missing A1 coil data for the period 5/22/02 18:00 - 5/26/02 12:00. The A1 data are missing from the CFJ-PC1 data for a few hours either side of this interval, but no fish data (only timer tags) were logged during those hours. The patch file is named CFJ02142.XA1. 05/31/2002 15:13 Carter_S Turned off Check_Submit. 05/31/2002 14:33 Darren The site has been shutdown for the season as of 14:30 on 5-31-02. The last files were sent in and the Data Collection Platform and Transceivers have been turned off. This was done after talikng with Charlie Strom from the YIN Cle Elum Hatchery. The site is being cleaned and the facility will be shut down today. The PC's will be brought back to Kennewick office for maintenance on the Hard Drives next week when the other two facilities will be shut down. 05/26/2002 22:26 Darren_C The site has been received but has not been loaded yet. 05/26/2002 14:27 Darren_C Coil A1 has been unable to communicate with Minimon since 5-22-02 at about 14:32. I went back through the log files to try and determine what if anything happened. I could not find anything that pointed to a change in Minimon or the setup. I stopped and restarted Minimon and verified that the transceiver was communicating. I was unable to connect to PC2 via PCA so we will need to get the files from PC2 when we visit next week and send them in to Gladstone. I will talk with Anthony C. on Tuesday when I get into the office and find out what he seen when he was there on Wednesday. 05/24/2002 11:19 Anthony On 5/22/02 installed keyboard tray on Anthro cart and tuned all transceivers. I found that The TX fiber labeled #02 from the modem to transceiver B2 is bad. The spare fiber labeled #01 TX and RX are also bad. Data is still being collected from transceiver B2 but MiniMon remote commands will not work with B2. All other transceivers are communicating to the pit tag room. 05/06/2002 11:13 Don_Warf Set the file submission frequency to upload 4 times per day. Checked and set clocks. Set About Time to run in the system tray at the Minimon sites. 05/05/2002 10:23 Dave Retrieved and queued two outstanding files CFJ02123.B and CFJ02123.C. 05/03/2002 09:35 Don_Warf Set PC2 to create 4 files per day. This was done at 7:50 PST. 05/02/2002 14:14 Scott_Li Per Carters request, changed the number of files created per day to 4, and changed the file submission frequency to 4 times per day with a 120 delay. This was done at 1025 PST 03/19/2002 07:57 Darren_C Charles Strom sent e-mail to the fact that screens had been pulled on March 15th. I will post the same for Jack Creek when I receive that information. 03/15/2002 09:27 Scott_Li Site interrogation computers have been upgraded to Minimon Ver. 1.0.81. Stick test were performed on both monitors at all sites with 99 % stick tag detection efficiency. All transceivers were calibrated and tuned for optimum current and noise levels. Per YIN personel, the board dams will be removed sometime today and fishies will be free to move on their own valition. 03/13/2002 21:00 Darren_C Fish were delivered to each of the Acclamation site on the following dates. I will make sure that we have all files needed to ensure any escapee recordings. The sites and Dates are as follows: CFJ - 1/15-1/17/02 ESJ - 1/28-1/30/02 JCJ - 2/20-2/22/02. 03/13/2002 10:56 Scott_Li Facility has not uploaded since day .70. Will be traveling to the site tomorrow 3/14 and will correct situation. Could not PCA into PC1 , was successful getting into PC2 and verified that data was being collected. 01/10/2002 08:40 Scott_Li Ther interrogation system has been activated as of ~13:00 hrs 01/09/02. One probelm that was found during the initial start up was that the fiber optic cable pair for coil B2 had failed. Swapped Fiber pair #1 with FO pair #3 (Spare). It appears that weather or knawing animals may have had something to do with the FO pair failure. Situation will be corrected on the next site visit. PC clocks were syncronized, old 2001 data was moved from the archive directory to 2001Data dir for storage. Upload process was verified successful. 01/09/2002 14:04 Dave At Scott's request, I enabled file-submission checking for ESJ and CFJ. ####End of Event Log for CFJ###
