2011 2/15/2011 12:00 AM 11/15/2011 12:00 AM The Warm Springs NFH adult ladder was watered up for the year on February 15. All adult-sized upstream migrating fish must pass through the ladder and PIT antenna array. Juvenile fish and some mini-jacks may be able to pass upstream through a separator gate without passing the WSH PIT antenna. The ladder was closed on November 15 and bar gates removed so that adult fish can pass upstream of the barrier dam without passing through the fish ladder or the antenna array.
2010 1/1/2010 12:00 AM 12/3/2010 12:00 PM No data were collected between August 20-26; power to the MUX was off. The ladder was dewatered on December 3, 2010; it is expected to water-up again in late January, 2011.
2009 2/4/2009 12:00 PM 1/1/2010 12:00 AM The ladder was dewatered from Dec. 9, 2008 until Feb. 4, 2009 for annual maintenance.
2008 2/12/2008 12:00 AM 12/9/2008 12:00 PM First year of operation. The Point of Contact is Jeff Hogle (jeff_hogle@fws.gov). The ladder was dewatered for annual maintenance on December 9.

Configuration

Configuration metadata includes details about the equipment used at the site to detect and record PIT tags. A new configuration sequence record is created when equipment is added or removed from the site and the period of time it was active. Event Log Summary

Event Date Event Type Comments
1/1/2022 12:00:00 AM General

Antenna 1 was not operational from August 24th 2022 to Sept 26 2022 due to improper calibration. Antenna 3 operated while LPS was operational between May 2, 2022 and Oct 28th 2022. All data were uploaded and downtime accounted for in 2021

1/1/2021 12:02:00 PM General

All data  was uploaded for 2020. The site ran all year and any down time was accounted for.

1/1/2020 2:38:00 PM General Antenna #3 (LPS) ran from 04/01/2019 to 11/18/2019 before the LPS was dewatered and winterized. All data were uploaded and downtime accounted for in 2019.
3/20/2019 2:38:00 PM General Antennas #1 stopped working due to water intrusion. IS1001 (node 1) not operating until further notice.
1/1/2019 11:01:00 AM General All 2018 data are uploaded and down times have been accounted for.
6/7/2018 11:01:00 AM General Antenna #3 operational. This is a circular antenna around the Lamprey Passage System exit tube. All antennas are capable of reading 1/2 duplex tags.
4/19/2018 11:01:00 AM General Site down from 04/04/18 to 04/19/18 due to power issues.
12/31/2017 1:57:00 PM General All PIT detection data collected at the Warm Springs National Fish Hatchery adult ladder during the year 2017 has been uploaded to PTAGIS. There are no gaps in the 2017 data as the site ran for all 365 days.
1/1/2017 8:31:00 AM General All PIT detection data collected at the Warm Springs National Fish Hatchery adult ladder during the year 2016 have been uploaded to PTAGIS. There are no gaps in the 2016 data as the site ran for all 366 days.
12/31/2015 6:47:00 AM General There are no missing interrogation files for 2015. All 2015 data has been uploaded to PTAGIS and there are no gaps in data.
2/19/2015 6:49:18 AM General The Warm Springs transceiver was off from 1/1/2015 through 2/18/2015 due to the failure of a power adapter.  The power adapter was replaced and the transceiver is running properly again.  No data was collected by the transceiver during this 48 day period.
12/31/2014 6:47:00 AM General There are no missing interrogation files for 2014.  All 2014 data has been uploaded to PTAGIS and there are no gaps in data.
8/14/2014 7:28:54 AM General Computer shut down and quit auto-uploading to PTAGIS 07/11/14. All data from 07/11/14 to 08/13/14 was downloaded from the MUX's buffer and submitted manually. The site is once again uploading automatically. No gaps in the data were incurred.
6/10/2014 4:31:00 AM SiteUp Site is always operating
6/9/2014 2:39:45 PM SiteDown The WSH laptop was unplugged from the power source so no daily interrogation files were uploaded to PTAGIS from 5/27/2014 at 20:54 to 6/8/2014 at 21:40.  The buffer was downloaded manually and all missing dates were uploaded to PTAGIS.  Therefore there is no missing data during the time the laptop was off.
1/29/2014 3:12:00 PM General The WSH site computer failed from 01/01/2014 to 01/26/2014. During this time there were no daily interrogation files uploaded to PTAGIS. The buffer was downloaded, but there were no PIT tag detections or test tags present in the buffer file for this time period. We believe the lack of test tags is due to high antenna noise that may be related to the current VTT (virtual test tag) settings. As a precaution, the PIT antennas were tested with a test tag and both were working very well regardless of noise levels. Therefore, we believe the antennas were fully operational and there are no data gaps during the time the computer was inoperable. On 01/27/2014, computer operation was restored and daily interrogation files were automatically uploading to PTAGIS once again.
12/31/2013 3:12:00 PM General The WSH site computer failed from 11/07/2013 to 12/31/2013. During this time there were no daily interrogation files uploaded to PTAGIS. The buffer was downloaded to recover missing data, but there were only test tags present in the file. Therefore there are no data gaps during the time the computer was inoperable. To the best of our knowledge, all 2013 data has been uploaded and down times have been accounted for in PTAGIS.
12/30/2013 9:50:00 AM General The adult fish ladder opened for operation February 6th, 2013. The WSH PIT antenna array also became operational on this date. Both remained in operation for the duration of 2013.
