    David sends the follwing information
    On October 8 2012 the PIT antenna array at WSH was shut down due to 
    hatchery maintenance work in the adult fish ladder.  Adult ladder repair 
    work was intermittent through the month of October and November.  
    During this time adult fish may have been able to migrate upstream without 
    detection at the PIT antenna array.  
    
    The ladder was shut down for winter in mid-November and will be re-opened 
    sometime in late January of 2013.  The PIT array will be operational when 
    the ladder re-opens in 2013.

    Communication issues between MUX and laptop computer (computer crashed
    intermittently due to cold weather) in February and March led to some
    "empty" interrogation files being uploaded during this time.  Buffer was
    downloaded (WSH12100.D) to recover any data that was not uploaded during
    this time, up to April 9th 2012.  Buffer data converted to interrogation
    data and resubmitted to PTAGIS.  No data gaps should exist.

    The Warm Springs NFH adult fish ladder was opened for annual operation on
    February 28th, 2012.  All upstream migrating adults in the Warm Springs
    River must pass through the two  PIT antennas located in the upper end of
    the fish ladder. The adult ladder is expected to be operational throughout
    2012, winter ladder closure is expected to occur sometime in mid-December.
