2012 1/1/2012 12:00 AM 1/1/2013 12:00 AM Intermittent diversion of water began on December 30, 2011.
2011 1/1/2011 12:00 AM 1/1/2012 12:00 AM Canal was drained on April 21st, detection equipment powered down on August 30. Equipment powered back up on November 22, and intermittent water diversion began on December 30.
2010 1/1/2010 12:00 AM 1/1/2011 12:00 AM Feed Canal began diverting water from the Umatilla River on Jan. 6, and stopped diverting water on May 25, 2010. Operations of both antenna arrays were suspended on Sept. 21. Feed Canal began diverting water from the Umatilla River on the morning of 12/9/2010. Operation of both antenna arrays (coils A1-6 and B1-5) at Feed Canal resumed in the afternoon.
2009 1/16/2009 12:00 AM 1/1/2010 12:00 AM Water discharge into Feed canal began on December 30, 2008. Both PIT arrays (near the headgate and diversion screen) at Feed canal began operation on January 16, 2009. Feed Canal stopped diverting water on April 22. Operation of the antenna array adjacent to the headgate (coils A1-A6) was suspended at 12:00 on June 4. Operation of the antenna array adjacent to the fish screen (coils B1-B5) was stopped at 00:00 on May 27. Operations at both arrays resumed on December 16.
2008 1/1/2008 12:00 AM 6/3/2008 6:00 PM Feed canal operations ceased briefly between: 01jan08 and 05jan08; 22jan08 and 05feb08; and 01apr08 and 12apr08. There are no detection data available for the diversion screen detectors between 14jan08 and 05feb08. Water diversion at Feed Canal was shut down on May 22nd 2008. Both PIT arrays (near the headgate and diversion screen) were left operational until June 3rd 2008 to account for fish passage during canal drainage. 2007 1/1/2007 12:00 AM 1/1/2008 12:00 AM Feed canal was at least partially dewatered between 1/24/07 and 2/7/07. The canal was dewatered on April 5. Detection activity resumed on December 11.
2006 12/5/2006 9:00 AM 1/1/2007 12:00 AM First year of operation. The detector was activated on December 5, 2006, but the canal was dewatered until December 9.

4/7/2023 12:00:00 AM SiteDown Feed Canal stopped diverting water this week. Most of the diverted water inside the canal drained from Feed Canal on 4/7/2023. The headgate is almost completely shut, only allowing a trickle of water through to keep the canal wet, thereby allowing any remaining fish to exit the canal via the juvenile bypass. The site will not start diverting water again until late 2023/ early 2024.

The headgate is almost completely shut, only allowing a trickle of water through to keep the canal wet, thereby allowing any remaining fish to exit the canal via the juvenile bypass. The site will not start diverting water again until late 2022/ early 2023.
