    Will Simpson notified me that Feed Canal did not resume detection
    activities after June 3 this year, so I have updated the obs_site_dates
    table and marked FDC as 'completed' for this year.

    Water diversion at Feed Canal was shut down on May 22nd 2008.

    Both PIT arrays (near the headgate and diversion screen) were left
    operational until June 3rd 2008 to account for fish passage during canal
    drainage.

    Feed canal operations ceased briefly between:
    January 1st and 5th 2008
    January 22nd and February 5th 2008
    April 1st and 12th 2008

    Potential detections by the PIT array just upstream of the diversion
    screen are not available for the following periods:
    January 14th and February 5th 2008
    May 6th from 11:53am to 12:25pm
