Has anyone tried to run 2 separate shielded cables to IS1001s in an array of 3 or more antennas, one for the data and one for the power?  If so, did you see any changes in antenna performance (noise)?

I don't know of anyone who has run separate cables, but we have used two separate power sources.  One to operate the MTS (directly to the battery bank) and one to provide power to the CAN bus (Acopian 24 -30).  We were seeing a significant sag in power on the end IS1001s in an array of 12.  I don't recall if it helped with the noise, but it certainly helped maintain the 3-4V overhead the exciter supply needs to operate well.

I have removed a few DC-DC converters because I wasn't able to observe the benefit but this might be a good way to use them more effectively. I do have a few sites that seem to show slightly lower exciter levels/input voltage at various nodes.  I will give it a shot and update you on any changes to V and noise.  Thanks!
