Adult and juvenile detection at Wells Hatchery. Points of detection include the adult fish handling facility, juvenile pond outflows and adult volunteer channel. The adult fish handling facility antennas monitor pipes where adults are sorted and sent to holding ponds for spawning, transport trucks or returned to the Columbia River. The volunteer channel would detect both adults that enter the channel and juveniles released from pond 1.
