TAN - Taneum Creek Instream

TThe interrogation site is located on Taneum Creek. From 2010 through 2016, it was located near the mouth of the creek. In 2017, the site was relocated approximately 3 km upstream near the Taneum Canal Company diversion dam and fish screen. The site is currently operating two stream-width antennas in a pass over configuration, synchronized by a Biomark IS1001 Master Controller. Each antenna is approximately 8.5 meters (28 ft) in length and 1 m (3 ft) wide. Previous configurations used a Destron-Fearing FS1001M transceiver and had from 1 to 6 antennas.

Antennas 2 and 3 will continue to monitor until we are able to get in and revamp the site. |
| 1/29/2020 8:56:00 AM | SiteDown | The Taneum Creek antenna site "TAN", was down due to a power outage from a bad battery bank from the dates of 01/29/2020 @ 01:12:19 - 02/04/2020 @ 11:31:59. The batteries were replaced and all firm ware was updated at the site, including the master controller, cellular modem and all three antenna nodes. There was also a corrupt external hard drive that was removed unlocking commands, so that we could remotely communicate with the master controller from our offices. |
