SW1 - Lower Selway River Array

The lower Selway PIT tag array is located 5 rkm upstream of the mouth of the Selway River in the upper Clearwater Basin Idaho. The array spans the entire river, high water mark to high water mark. The site consists of a pair of Biomark IS1001-Master Controllers, 19-IS1001 readers, eighteen 20 ft antennas and one 10 ft antenna. The antennas are arranged in single 370 ft array. IS1001-MC A0 controls antennas 01-0A (from left-bank) and IS1001-MC BO controls antennas 01-09 (from middle of channel to right bank). Site has AC power with Biomark PLC battery switcher, satellite communication and Campbell Scientific CS451 and 109 environmental probes.

7/8/2020 2:06:00 PM General Selway 1 (SW1) Updated firmware to v1.7.1. in July 8, 2020. SW1 running continously through September 21, although power outages in the area created a 16 hours of downtime on September 9, 2020.
6/9/2020 6:28:00 AM General Satellite SIM Card Swap and site maintenance.
1/27/2020 8:58:00 AM General SW1 site batteries were replaced with four new 115A batteries on January 27, 2020 as site voltage had dropped to 18.0 V on January 19, 2020 affecting antenna current on both A0 and B0 readers. SW1 is operating without disruption and running continuously again.
10/9/2018 7:10:00 AM General Selway River Array (SW1) IS1001 reader node on antenna A9 (Master Controller A0) was replaced. Also, antenna cables were re-armored and re-buried throughout the entire array on October 9, 2018. SW1 is operating continuously without disruption through October 21, 2018.
8/14/2017 2:07:00 PM General Antennas 16-19 (B0: 6-9) were put in standby due to the antennas being dry. The antennas will be put back in the scanning sequence as water level increases.
4/4/2017 2:00:00 PM SiteUp Bypassed both Acopians at the site. Both MC's are now operational.
3/23/2017 12:00:00 AM SiteUp Removed PLC battery switcher and installed AC-DC power supply. MC B0 is currently operational. Will return to get A0 up and running.
1/6/2017 7:36:02 AM General The lower Selway River array became operational on 12-19-16.
