SND - Sandtrap Acclimation Site

Three antennas are installed in the outflow channel of the East Fork Irrigation District’s Sandtrap facility, which returns water and fish bypassed at irrigation ditch screens to the East Fork Hood River. The Sandtrap is also used as an acclimation and release site for hatchery winter steelhead smolts.
