The site facilitates the monitoring of salmonid migration into Okanagan Lake (kłusxnitkʷ) and consists of a fish ladder antenna system and an instream array. The fishway system, installed in December 2022 on the western shore (right bank) of Okanagan Lake Dam, includes two 5 ft x 10 ft High-density Polyethylene (HDPE) antennas. The instream array, installed on August 9, 2023, approximately 80m downstream of the dam, comprises four 3 ft x 20 ft HDPE antennas in the middle and two 3 ft x10 ft HDPE antennas on each of the riverbank, covering the full 30m wetted width of the river. All antennas are connected to a Biomark IS1001 Master Controller (MC), and the site operates on alternating current (AC) power.
