This is a passive in-stream interrogation system on the Methow River. During 2009 and early 2010, the array was located at river km 81, above Winthrop, WA near Winthrop National Fish Hatchery. In Sept. 2010 it was moved upstream to its new location below Wolf Creek on the mainstem Methow River, at river km 85. The system consisted of two rows of three 20' antennas energized by a MUX through 8/7/2024. The site was upgraded on 8/8/2024 and now consists of two rows of six 20' antennas that are energized by IS-1001 units and a IS-1001MC. Antennas 02-06 and 08-0C span the wetted width of the river during summer flows. Antennas 01 & 07 are dry for the majority of the year and will only be operated during higher water conditions. All antennas are anchored in a pass-over configuration.
