At the Mad River temporary site debris had built up on CANBUS cable during high flows and damaged it through stress. Site began having problem properly tuning around 18 November and then the antenna was lost on 6 December 2021. The CANBUS cable was replaced on 15 December.

3/31/2021 12:59:00 PM General The Mad River array started to experience high levels of noise on 5/06/2020 reducing tag detections. On 3/31/2021 a single flat plate antenna was temporarily installed at RKM 778.017.002 upstream of the original site. 47.738046, -120.380441 The temporary antenna site consists of a IS1001 master controller, an IS1001 antenna control node, and a 15’ HDPE antenna. The original site will continue to operate with the high noise levels until a solution can be found.
5/6/2020 9:51:00 AM SiteDown Noise suddenly jumped at this site and it has not been functioning at a level high enough to read tags since 5-6-20. No solution has yet to be found.
2/19/2020 3:13:23 PM General Antenna 1 lost current on the 16th of January. It was plugged back in on 19 February at approximately 10:30.
1/16/2020 6:00:00 PM General At interrogation site MAD on 1/16/2020 at approximately 18:00, Antenna #1 went offline.
7/3/2018 12:00:00 PM General At interrogation site MAD on 7/3/2018 at approximately 12:00 PM, antenna #1 and #4 were brought back online. Antenna #1 was plugged back in. Antenna #4 was replaced with new 15' HDPE Westfork antenna. All antennas are now functioning. Site is fully operational.
