HST is a permanent instream PIT tag interrogation site at RKM 50 on the Touchet river. The current site configuration consists of two rows of antennas, with each row spanning the wetted width of the channel during base flows. The site consists 2 rows of antennas. The upper row consists of 2 20-foot HDPE antennas and 1 10-foot HDPE antenna. The lower row consist of 3 20-foot HDPE antennas and 1 10-foot PVC antenna, all are installed in a flat-plate configuration. Each antenna is powered by a Biomark IS1001-MC multiplexing transceiver. The antennas were built and installed by WDFW. The electrical power at the site is provided by the Walla Walla grain growers 110 electrical outlet on site. A cellular modem is installed on site to provide remote communication and allow for automated data collection. The site was updated in October 2020 from its previous configuration that consisted of nine antennas in two rows.
