This site is a permanent instream PIT tag detection system located at rkm 0.4 on Chiwaukum Creek (Wenatchee River Basin), located near Tumwater Campground (access through site 51). The site consists of four antennas installed in two rows, each row with two antennas one 20ft and one 10fts, installed in a flat plate configuration. Each row spans the wetted width of the channel during base flows. The antennas were built and installed by WDFW. Power to the IS1001-MC transceiver is provided by a thermoelectric generator on site. Site is operated on a seasonal basis from February to November.
