The Champion Creek (CHC) interrogation site consists of a single in-stream detection system located in Champion Creek in the Salmon River Basin approximately 1.4 km upstream of the confluence of Champion Creek with the Salmon River. The array consists of a single 15-foot Biomark HPDE antenna, one IS1001 antenna control node, and a battery box on the southern side of the creek. The array spans the entire creek at base flow. CHC is operated by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game Anadromous Fish Screen Program (AFS) project. It was installed on July 26th, 2024.
