Instream detection array near the town of Union, Oregon, consisting of a IS1001-MTS multiplexing receiver and four antennas, each with 24v-IS1001s. Two antenna arrays are composed of two antennas each that span the normal high water mark and are secured to the substrate for pass-over detection. Two antennas are placed side-by-side to span the creek for the upstream and downstream arrays. Site is grid powered and operates year-round. Site is on private land.

We completed an update at the antenna site today. We ran knew nodes and CANBUS for each antenna, along with new junction boxes to allow for easier diagnosing of issues in the future. We also installed a water temperature sensor and hooked up bio-probe to monitor temperature. |

Checked the site today due to ongoing power issues in which the site has gone in an out of power. Batteries were both fine last time we were out two weeks ago and we've been able to remotely connect to the site. On todays visit, there was still power but one set of batteries was dead. We swapped that set of batteries with a new batteries. |

Site visit to connect a raspberry pi for remote uploads. Raspberry pi was connected, but configuration was unsuccessful. Will be replacing the raspberry pi in the future.
Also swept antenna 2 for a shed PIT tag. We were unsuccessful in finding the shed tag. |

Conducted a site visit to swap batteries that run the virtual test tags and check on the antennas. Antenna 3 is currently down and due to high water yet we are unable to determine if it has become unplugged or damaged. It went down on June 5th, 2022. Antenna 4 is currently connected, but operating at a reduced capacity due to potentially being flooded. Antenna 2 is operating normally but has a pit tag stuck within its read range. This is causing quite a bit of interference, but won't be able to check for the tag until water levels drop. Antenna 1 has not been connected all spring due to issues with the antenna and high water.

Installed two new antennas at CCU to replace the two broken antennas. Ran new cabling to to fix a short in original site cables to antennas 3 & 4 (formally 1 & 2). 3 & 4 are fully tuned and operational. Antennas 1 & 2 will be connected in the near future. |

CCU site went at the end of the 12th. Connection was intermittent when jostling the cables, but no breaks in nodes or cables. Nodes have been pulled to clean up the connections points (1/26/22). |

Pulled ANT 1 node due to it malfunctioning. There is a short period with any data entry due to the system being shut down. Ant 2 & 4 are working. |

Repaired broken antenna cables to antennas 1, 2, and 4. Antenna 3 was damaged beyond repair and physically removed from the site. The three remaining antennas (1, 2, and 4) were functional at about 4:00 p.m. on October 25th. |
