Burlingame Diversion Dam is located on the lower Walla Walla River. This site consists of detectors in the dam's fish passage facilities, as well as in the canal intake.

2011 1/1/2011 12:00 AM 1/1/2012 12:00 AM The canal dectectors, which were deactivated when the canal was dewatered on Dec. 27, 2010, were reactivated on March 7, 2011, when the canal gates were opened and the canal watered up. Antenna F1 sequenced out from January 28-August 29, due to a shed tag in its field. Antenna FB shut down from August 5-September 29, due to lack of water in the canal.
2010 1/1/2010 12:00 AM 1/1/2011 12:00 AM The computer was shut down for the bypass antenna (FB) on Jan. 9, 2010; the canal was dewatered on Dec. 20, 2009. The adult fishway and bypass slot antennas (F3-F6) are still active. As of Oct. 2, the canal was open with water running through it; the canal bypass antennas (F1, F2, and FB) were active. The canal was desatered on Dec. 27, 2010.
2009 1/1/2009 12:00 AM 1/1/2010 12:00 AM The fish bypass canal antenna was shut down on Jan. 9, 2009. The canal was re-watered on March 1, and the antennas activated. The canal was dewatered on Dec. 20, 2009.
2008 1/1/2008 12:00 AM 1/1/2009 12:00 AM There was a power outage from Jan. 3 through early afternoon on Jan. 8.
2007 1/24/2007 12:00 AM 1/1/2008 12:00 AM First year of operation. Ladder antennas F3 & F4 were installed on Jan. 24, and the slot antenna F5 was installed on Feb. 8. The transceiver was off between Feb. 13 and March 2. Antennas F1 & F2 were installed in the canal during February, but the canal did not water up until March 13. The canal was dewatered between July 7 and October 1. On September 6, the irrigation district opened two full sets of boards on the spillway. Antenna F5 was installed on September 24, to cover passage through the spillway slot.

Reader F0- the mux that monitors the adult fishway, bypass slot and canal intake lost power around 7:35 AM on 6/22. Power was restored on 6/27 at about 10:28 AM.

The clock on the dam mux was set to the correct time.

2/6/2020 2:00:00 PM SiteDown Site was damaged during flooding on 2/6/2020 and is shut down. I have no time table right now for its return to service.
4/10/2019 11:00:00 AM General Antenna F1 was damaged on 4/10 due to high water. I removed the antenna from the mux sequence. Also reset the clock to the correct time.
5/10/2018 1:01:10 PM General I reset the clocks on the ladder reader (mux) and the bypass reader (IS1001).
2/1/2018 1:31:48 PM General Reset the time on the readers.
1/12/2018 8:35:51 AM General Antenna 05 was lost during a high flow event on 12/31.

1/24/2017 12:00:00 PM SiteUp Power was restored to the ladder system on 1/24. An electrician installed a new outdoor outlet.
1/9/2017 2:00:00 PM SiteDown BGM lost power again on 1/9/17 after 13:29. CTUIR personnel got the bypass portion back running on 1/19, but I still can't communicate remotely with the ladder.
1/6/2017 9:19:06 AM General The electrical problem was solved on the ladder reader. So the site is running on permanent power again.
1/5/2017 1:15:35 PM SiteDown The BGM fish ladder was down due to a power outage (possibly a bad transformer) from 12/12 at @ 13:28 to 1/4 at 14:28. A temporary extension cord is being used to provide power until the electrical problems are fixed. The BGM fish bypass was also down due to electrical problems down from 12/12 at @ 13:28 to 12/20 at 16:12 PST.
12/19/2016 8:57:59 AM SiteDown Power was lost on 12/11/16 at both the bypass and fish ladder. Clinton Case with CTUIR is trying to get the power back on. Possibly a tripped circuit breaker.
9/21/2016 9:39:26 AM General BGM Bypass IS-1001 firmware was updated to 1.6.1
11/6/2015 9:45:13 AM General Communications were restored at the Burlingame ladder mux. I downloaded the mux buffer and uploaded tags to PTAGIS.
11/2/2015 8:46:00 AM General I lost cell communications with the BGM ladder on 11/2. According to Clinton at CTUIR the site is running. I'm working to restore comms to the site.
5/20/2015 9:20:02 AM General Files BGM15136.A9 and BGM15136.B9 were created to fill the data gaps when the mux at the BGM ladder lost its date/time settings on 5/16/15.
