Taking a closer look at the remote power systems used by WDFW and other agencies to power Pit-Tag arrays in different environments and scenarios found in the Pacific Northwest. Primary focus will be on thermoelectric and solar power systems, the equipment, strengths/weaknesses, and when to choose one over the other. Currently operating arrays will be looked at as case studies demonstrating the use of both systems, and their operational results and challenges.
