Version 1.15.0 of I5 is now available to download and install. This version of the software makes a change to how the Time Zone option is set when creating a new Site Dataset or importing a new Data Source into an existing Site Dataset. In earlier version of I5, the Time Zone option defaulted to the time zone setting of the computer on which I5 was running. Starting in version 1.15, users will need to explicitly select the time zone in which the data being imported into I5 was collected.
For example, if the transceiver clock at your site is always maintained on Pacific Standard Time, and your computer has switched into Pacific Daylight Time, then I5 v1.14 and earlier would have automatically set the Time Zone to PDT, and the user would need to switch it to PST. Now in v1.15, the user will need to select PST as the time zone before you can save the Site Dataset, and in some cases when you first import the Data Source.
