The 2024 PIT Tag Workshop is just two months away and the GSA-rated room block will be closing soon. If you have not already done so and are planning to attend the workshop, please book your rooms and register as soon as you can. Rooms at the GSA rate of $152 plus tax will not be available after January 2, 2024. Registration for the workshop itself closes January 22, 2024.
The workshop will take place Tuesday, January 30 through Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, Washington. It starts at 1pm on Tuesday with presentations continuing through 12pm on Thursday and optional training on Thursday afternoon.
Tuesday afternoon has sessions on data analysis and detection methods and ends that evening with a reception and poster session. Wednesday’s sessions include presentations on monitoring, research related to PIT tags and data management. Thursday morning consists of an instream interrogation site session with concurrent hands-on/training blocks scheduled for Thursday afternoon. PTAGIS will also offer software and reporting system training on Thursday afternoon.
Breakfast and lunch at Skamania Lodge on Wednesday and Thursday are included in the workshop registration fee. See the recently released online detailed agenda for more information about the scheduled presentations.
