On January 16th 2014, the PIT Tag Steering Committee held its annual meeting at Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission. Updates were given on the PTAGIS projects accomplishments in 2013 and a roadmap presented of what is planned for the upcoming year.
Among the topics of discussion were; Marking Manual update, PIT tag Forecaster, Hydrofoil antenna testing at BCC, a review of mainstem interrogation transceiver redundancy scheme, and tag code mask validation.
