M5 File Manager

M5 File Manager is a separate application that can be used to correct and resubmit M5 files that have been rejected by PTAGIS for a number of reasons. At its most basic it is a JSON file editor and validator and includes several quality of life features, such as:

•search for and download rejected files from the PTAGIS server

•open locally saved M5 files

•validate M5 file against JSON and PTAGIS file specifications

•displays file format errors

•automatically clean non-printable characters from a file

•save edited file and submit to PTAGIS

	Configuration
	Enter your registered email address, change the local folder to which files will be saved, and select the type of data submission. The registered email address and data submission type will be used when files are submitted to PTAGIS for processing.

	Tool Bar
	Features to open, edit and submit M5 files.Click Tool Bar link for more details.

	File Name
	The File Name of the currently opened M5 file.

	File Editor
	JSON file editor.

	Error List
	If any JSON file format or PTAGIS M5 file specification issues are found within the file, they will be listed here along with the line number. Double-click the line to jump to that spot in the file editor.
