Use this type of connection for devices, such as the Biomark IS1001, that support ethernet connections.
•Click Add Connection from the Create/Edit Site Connection form.
•Set the Connection Type to Network.
•Enter the device IP Address and Port (Biomark devices have a default port of 10001).
•In the Test Terminal, click the Connection to On and send a command to test the connection.
•Click OK.

Enter the IPv4 address of the device. See the device documentation for how to set or determine the IP address. |

Specify the port used to connect to the device. Biomark IS1001 readers and Master Controller have a default port of 10001. |

Change the Connection switch to On to test that you can connect to device. To verify that you are connected, select and send a command and verify that the expected response shows up in the terminal below. |
