Configuration settings can be imported from both P4 and P5. After selecting one or more files to import, the configuration tools available for import will be displayed along with the possible import actions (e.g. import as new tool, update an existing tool, or use the existing tool as is).

Import P4 Configuration |

When moving from P4 to P5, configuration can be imported directly from the P4 database upon first run of P5. In addition, a P4 configuration file can also be imported into P5. |

Exported P5 configuration files can be imported to easily transfer configuration tools to other computers. All of the P5 configuration tools are available to import and export. |
