EVENT LOG FOR SITE WW1 Most recent activity to be listed first. First line of each entry lists date, time and who is reporting. Subsequent lines of each entry aligned under Time column. Do not use tabs, only spaces. Date Time Who What -------- ----- -------- ----------------------------------------------- 11/14/2002 14:00 Dave I modified the admin_addr field in etc/sites to specifically reference ptoc_ken. Event-driven e-mail notifications regarding this site will now be sent to Don, Scott, and Darren, but not to Carter, Dave, John, Todd, or Sean Casey. 09/27/2002 09:29 Gayle A small stream, pass-through antenna system installation was completed at Harris Park on the South Fork of the Walla Walla River in Milton- Freewater, OR on 6 September 2002. Antennas and computer systems ran adequately for a few days. 23 mm PIT tags were detected 2 ft. from the plane of the antennas. On 9 September the computer stopped functioning and was restarted on 13 Sep. On 16 September antenna C2 lost connectivity with the transceiver. C2 was not functional again until 18 September. On 18 September further modifications were made to the installation. C1 and C2 were renamed A1 and A2, new cables and conduit were run from the transceivers to the antennas and both antennas are currently functioning well. 09/08/2002 11:30 Dave Couldn't help but notice that all files created since noon on 9/6 generate NET_ANOM errors due to coil labels of C1 and C2 rather than the expected A1 and A2. Any actual fish detections in these files will be loaded to the obs_data table but NOT to any summary tables that rely on valid configuration data. I don't know what affect, if any, this misconfiguration has on the tally and analysis of test tag data. 09/06/2002 08:06 Darren_C The laptop computer lost power due to a scheduled power outage by Umatilla PUD on Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Gayle Zydlewski restored power yesterday sometime in the afternoon. We will inform as to when the site is in a production mode. 09/05/2002 09:28 Scott_Li Power to this site was shut down yesterday in order for the contractor to pull an isolated ground from the distribution panel to the 2nd circuit in the vertical enclosure. Contractor will call when the final electrical inpection had been completed. The contractor had noticed that when he opened the enclosure that the computer did not appear to be running. Not sure what happened. Will inform Gayle of the situation and have her correct the problem tomorrow when she visits the site. One note, we have little confidence in this computer being a reliable data collection PC and suspect that it will be burdensome to the personnel responsible for it's upkeep. 09/04/2002 13:43 Scott_Li This site has been commissioned and tranceivers certified by PTOC on : 03 SEPTEMBER 2002 AT 14:52. File WW102246.D and WW102246.H contains the transceiver status dumps validating the transceiver certifications for xvcr I.D A1, A2 respectively. These files also contain the new timertag codes for this site. ####End of Event Log for WW1###
