Date Time Who What ---------- ----- -------- ----------------------------------------------- 06/13/2013 13:23 Taylor Installation of the PIT tag interrogation system (Downstream Antenna, 03) for the South Fork Gold Creek Acclimation Pond began on March 21, 2013 at 15:14 hrs. This detection system was located in the outfall of the complex approximately 15 meters from the tail-out of the last pond A total of six files were downloaded. During stocking on March 21st, the force of water from the stocking tube forced the barrier net of the last pond to rise up, allowing a number of juveniles to escape into the pond complex. The barrier net was re-secured, however fish continued to appear in detection systems up to the release date. Detection efficiencies during this event were high, and it is assumed all escapees are accounted for. Downstream Antenna, 03 was removed on 13 April, 2013 at 17:22 hrs to fill antenna coverage needs at other locations. It was replaced on May 6, 2013 at 11:38 hrs. This detection system was pulled from the channel on June 13, 2013 at 09:48 hrs, after 3 days of zero tag detections and a snorkel survey to confirm site as void of juvenile coho. Detection system (Upstream Antenna, 01) was placed in the channel and started interrogation on March 21, 2013 at 15:18 hrs. This system was located 5 meters downstream from the tail-out of the last pond. This antenna was never moved, and did not experience any lapse in coverage. A total of seven files were downloaded. This detection system was pulled from the channel on June 13, 2013 at 09:35 hrs, after 3 days of zero tag detections and a snorkel survey to confirm site as void of juvenile coho. Detection system (02) was placed in the channel and started interrogation on March 21, 2013 at 15:25 hrs. This system was located 5 meters downstream from Upstream Antenna 01. This antenna was never moved, and did not experience any lapse in coverage. A total of six files were downloaded. This detection system was pulled from the channel on June 13, 2013 at 09:36 hrs, after 3 days of zero tag detections and a snorkel survey to confirm site as void of juvenile coho. 02/07/2013 11:37 Nicole Initial event log entry for new interrogation site at the SF Gold Creek Pond Complex (SGP).
