Connection was extremely slow which maybe the cause for the failed load cycle. Deleted the entire content of the .Temp folder for good measures. Will monitor subsequent load cycles. 11/18/2008 07:40 scottl The site was not auto uploading, manually deleted the .zip compressed folder, restarted Minimon and manually pushed files without problems. The gap in data coverage on Oct. 31 actually spans almost 4.5 hours, rather than the 3.5 hours I reported yesterday. 11/01/2008 11:11 Dave There is a 3.5-hour loss of data, from 0830-1255 on October 31, due to an apparent power outage. The outage occurred while RZF-PC1 was collecting data in its RZF08305.C1.TMP file. All queued data in that file were lost. I retrieved and inspected files RZF08305.G2, RZF08305.H2, and RZF08305.I2.TMP, for the corresponding 2.5-hour interval, from RZF-PC2. The PC2 TMP file contained transceiver data and computer time stamps through 8:30:09. I manually annotated this TMP file, appended a FILE CLOSED record, and then removed the TMP file suffix. I uploaded the RZF08305.G2 - RZF08305.I2 files to the PTAGIS data file queue. I archived all data files on RZF-PC2 prior to RZF08306.A2. I manually moved the RZF08305.C1.TMP and RZF08305.I2.TMP files into the archive directories on RZF-PC1 and RZF-PC2, respectively. 10/27/2008 07:19 Alan Manually pushed RZF08301.B1 to PTAGIS via PCA. 10/19/2008 10:39 scottl Site is have troubles with the auto-upload process, manual uploads have been successfull. All transceivers were checked and tuned as necessary. Upon arrival it was noticed that the old interrogation PCs had drifted ~00:11:00 slow. At ~07:45:30 they were adjusted to within one second of atomic time. The interrogation computers were replaced with Dell PCs running Vista Business/Minimon v1.5.0. In addition, a Dell PC running XP Pro SP3 was deployed as the utility machine. File RZF080288.D1 is the last file to be submitted from the old PC1. File RZF080288.H1 is the first file to be submitted from the new PC1. Files RZF080288.M2 & N2 were created on PC2 to fill the gap during PC1's downtime. No problems to report. 09/30/2008 07:47 Troy Pushed RZF08274.B1 via PCA. 08/13/2008 08:12 Alan Manually pushed RZF08225.E1 through RZF08226.B1 to PTAGIS via PCA. Moved the files to a separate folder and then was able to manually push the data files without problems. Will monitor the afternoon load and make corrections if necessary. 06/22/2008 07:30 Alan Manually pushed RZF08174.B1 to PTAGIS via PCA. 06/17/2008 08:38 Alan Via PCA, I moved RZF08168.I1 from the archive folder to the data folder then pushed it to PTAGIS. 06/16/2008 13:54 scottl Due to the ISP change over, the DNS entries on all computers were changed to the new settings. No problems to report. Patch file RZF08168.E2 was submitted as the patch file while PC1 was being reconfigured. 05/30/2008 07:19 Scott_Li Big Brother reports that the router and 2 computers are unreachable but are continuing to send data files to PTAGIS. Cannot remote into either computer, will talk with Todd and reset the VPN tunnel in an attempt to restore remote access. 05/28/2008 11:53 Darren A site GMC was performed today (5-28-08). When I PCA'd into the site I found that there was a web browser with the router settings for the VPN passthrough open. I was unsure if the settings had been saved. I contacted Rod Bina, who had informed our office earlier in the day that all VPN routers had been changed to reflest the new IP address of the remote gateway, to verify and save the new settings. Once the infromation was saved I logged back into the site and closed the browser and placed Minimon back to a full screen and sent in the RZF08144.B1 file that had not loaded. 05/21/2008 14:00 Alan Pulled RZF08140.C1 out of the archive folder and submitted it to PTAGIS via PCA. 05/15/2008 15:07 Darren A site GMC was performed today (5-15-08). All transceivers were checked for tuning, noise, and detection ability. The transceiver dorrs were proped open with rip-ties to alleviate the heat inside the enclosures. No problems were discovered during this visit. 05/12/2008 11:28 Alan This file (RZF08133.C1) was found in the archive folder. It was moved to the data folder and manually submitted to PTAGIS via PCA. 05/07/2008 14:44 scottl Performed site GMC, all transceivers were checked for tune and hit rates. No problems found. 03/27/2008 07:29 Alan Manually pushed RZF08087.B1 to PTAGIS via PCA. 03/26/2008 08:57 scottl Performed GMC and replaced all internal transceiver batteries. No problems to report. 03/03/2008 13:20 Darren PSMFC was on site today to install the satellite dish heater. The heater was installed and communications were verified. Only one power supply was installed for the dish heater due to the fact that the second power supply had a broken connector. The dealer was notified to the problem and is currently chekcing on getting an RMA for the broken component. 02/07/2008 07:21 Alan Manually submitted RZF08037.D1 from PC1 via PCA. FYI- the file was intact and residing in the archive folder. 01/19/2008 09:14 Troy PCA'ed into RZF and pushed RZF08018.D1 through RZF08019.B1. Watched MM change files to .D1 then shut down MM and restarted. This resulted in a 75 second file gap that should be covered by a file on PC2. Only Excessive Noise alarms were missed. 01/15/2008 15:52 Alan Manually pushed RZF08015.E1 to PTAGIS via PCA. 01/08/2008 13:50 Alan A GMC was performed 1/8/2008. All transceivers were tuned.
