    Interrogation event log for the WDFW Methow State Hatchery Release Site
    (MSH)-2011 release
    Installation of the PIT tag interrogation systems for the Methow State
    Hatchery Release Site began on April 19, 2011.  A total of three readers
    were deployed for a period of fourteen days.  The upper PIT tag
    interrogation system (.A0) was installed approximately 50 meters
    downstream
    from the juvenile release site at 10:15 am.  A total of five files were
    downloaded.  The second system (.B0) was approximately five meters
    downstream from the uppermost antenna (.A0).  Four files were downloaded.
    The third antenna (.C0) was installed an additional 100 meters downstream
    from the second interrogation system.  Four files were also downloaded.
    All
    3 antennas were 24 inches wide with Vexar frames spanning from the
    antennas
    to the bank for structural support and to direct migrating fish.
    The uppermost PIT tag interrogation system (.A0) began functioning on
    April
    19 at 10:15 am until May 2, 2011, at 10:24 am when the stream was deemed
    void of juvenile Spring Chinook.
    PIT tag interrogation system (.B0) was deployed on April 19 at 10:10 am
    and
    was taken out on 2 May at 10:20 am.
    PIT tag interrogation system (.C0) was deployed on April 19 at 11:45 am
    and
    was taken out on 2 May at 10:30 am.
    All three readers were removed from the outfall channel due to higher
    flows
    created by the release of spring chinook from the on-station raceways.
    Date
    and times were as follows: (.A0) was pulled on April 25 at 18:29 and
    deployed on April 27 at 08:49, (.B0) was pulled on April 25 at 18:33 and
    deployed on April 27 at 08:49, and (.C0) was pulled on April 25 at 18:36
    and
    deployed on April 27, 00:54 probably from a signaled deployment timer.
