    3/01/2010 - First group of Chinook salmon smolts received at LOP.  PC 
    installed MS updates on computer, started minimon, test fired tags
    successfully.  Conducted stick test, left system running because there was
    a possibility of a few fish escaping LOP before release.

    3/04/2010 - DB found system not operating.  Assume there was an extended 
    power outage.

    3/05/2010 - PC tested battery backup system and found it working properly.

    3/17/2010 - Start of first acclimated volitional release.

    3/30/2010 - Force out of first acclimated volitional release group.
    Possible delayed passage past the interrogation coils could occur over a 
    24-hour period.

    3/31/2010 - Second group of Chinook salmon smolts received at LOP for 
    acclimation.  There is a possibility of a few fish escaping LOP before
    release.

    4/10/2010 - Start of second acclimated volitional release.

    4/14/2010 - Computer shutdown twice without warning after an older thumb
    drive was inserted to backup data.

    4/20/2010 - Force out of second acclimated volitional release group.  
    Possible delayed passage past the interrogation coils could occur over a
    24-hour period.

    4/26/2010 - LOP shut down for the year.
