    with the relevant information provided by Peter Cleary.

    Peter Cleary, Nez Perce Tribe, provides the following information
    regarding the volitional releases of PIT-tagged fish from the Lostine
    River Acclimation Ponds in 2006.

    3/08/06 - Site becomes operational for the year.  PIT tag interrogation
    equipment is assembled and turned on.

    3/10/06 - Volitional release of Chinook salmon begins.  Coil 01 is
    disabled due to a low exciter cable alarm.

    3/15/06 - Darren Chase and Alan Brower (PSMFC) service coils 01, 02, 11,
    and 12 at LOP.  Coil 01 was rebuilt and retuned.  The transceiver for coil
    01 was found to be defective and was replaced.

    3/20/06 - The first volitional release ends with the remaining fish forced
    from the ponds.

    3/28/06 - The second volitional release of Chinook salmon begins.

    4/10/06 - The second volitional release ends with the remaining fish
    forced from the ponds.  PIT tag interrogation equipment is turned off for
    the year.
