Fish arrived at the site on March 10th for spring acclimation. Volitional release began on May 6th and concluded on June 13th, when final observations had determined that all fish had exited the site. The system was taken down on June 17th. No interruptions to the detection systems were observed during the 2009 acclimation season. The addition of solar panels at this site dramatically increased the reliability of the monitoring activities. Early detections prior to release were presumed to be "escapees" and net adjustments were made immediately after detections were noticed.
