By convention antenna IDs should be assigned in ascending order from upstream to downstream and from left to right when looking downstream from about the site as demonstrated in the diagram below.
Antennas should also be put into groups that represent a logical location at the site. For example, if the site has six antennas arranged into two raws, the upstream row would be in one antenna group called Upstream Array, and the downstream row would be in another group called Downstream Array. Another example is in the case of two antennas at the end of an outfall pipe; they might grouped into a Pond Outfall antenna group.
